The DOE Office of Legacy Management took responsibility for long-term surveillance and maintenance at the Salmon site (a Vela Uniform Site/Offsite) in 2008. Responsibilities include monitoring groundwater and surface water locations, maintaining institutional controls, records-related activities, and stakeholder support.
