December 22, 2017In January, the Office of Indian Energy offered a series of regional workshops designed to provide Alaska Native leaders and their staffs with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of developing energy projects, including:
- How renewable energy and energy efficiency projects can help address community energy challenges and advance clean energy goals
- Effective strategies and tactics for identifying potential funding and financing opportunities, overcoming challenges, and gaining community buy-in
- Experience-based insights and lessons learned from other Native villages.
