On Thursday, February 1, from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. ET, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grid Deployment Office (GDO) will host a Grid Resilience State and Tribal Formula Grant Informational webinar focused on the Grid Resilience State and Tribal Formula Grant fiscal year 2024 (FY24) Administrative and Legal Requirements Document (ALRD). This webinar will focus on next steps for New Grant Applicants. New Grant Applicants are eligible applicants that DID NOT submit a grant application for FY22/23.

Existing Grant Recipients and Current Grant Applicants should visit Grid Resilience State and Tribal Formula Grants for additional information.

On January 18, 2024, GDO released the Grid Resilience State and Tribal Formula Grant FY24 ALRD to open the allocation request and application period. Supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and administered by GDO, these grants help modernize the electric grid to reduce the impacts of climate-driven extreme weather and natural disasters while also ensuring the reliability of the power sector. As of January 2024, DOE has awarded a total of more than $772 million in FY22/23 grants to 52 participating states and territories and 103 tribal entities.
