DOE ordered Research Products Corporation (RPC) to pay a $1,650,000 civil penalty after RPC had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of the noncompliant dehumidifier. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and RPC.
