DOE issued a Notice of Noncompliance Determination to Republic Manufacturing finding that Republlic failed to comply with certification requirements prior to importing and distributing electric motors in commerce in the U.S. Republic provided DOE with test data showing that it has now tested at least five units of five basic models in accordance with DOE regulations. Republic has not yet submitted a valid certification report for its electric motors and must do so prior to distribution in commerce.
