On June 4, 2024, DOE issued a Notice of Noncompliance Determination to Maximus Deals finding that the following basic models: GE 60W Crystal Clear Ceiling Fan Candelabra-Base; GE 40W Frosted T10; GE 40W Globe Light Bulb; GE Classic  75W Par30 Dimmable Reflector; GE 48714-60BC/RVL CD2 Decorative 60W; and GE 71395 60W Candelabra Base do not comply with applicable energy conservation standards based on that they are general service lamps that do not meet the applicable federal energy conservation standard of at least 45 lm/W. Maximus Deals provided DOE records showing the number of units Maximus Deals distributed. Federal law subjects manufacturers and private labelers to civil penalties if those parties distribute in the U.S. products that do not meet applicable energy conservation standards.
