DOE ordered Hefei Midea Laundry Appliance Co. Ltd. On September 24, 2018, DOE issued a Notice of Noncompliance Determination to Hefei Midea finding that the clothes washers, which includes basic model numbers MAE50-S1102GPS/M-13-K4 and MAE70-S1402GPS/M-13-K4 does not comply with applicable energy conservation standards basic on DOE testing.
