DOE ordered Bard Manufacturing Co., Inc., (Bard) to pay a $45,017 civil penalty after Bard had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of the noncompliant Bard single package vertical air conditioners. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Bard.
