Federal fleet working groups, including INTERFUEL (Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Vehicles) and FEVAR (Federal Electric Vehicle Agency Roundtable), provide a forum for agencies to learn about new technologies and share fleet management experiences.
INTERFUEL
The Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Vehicles (INTERFUEL) working group serves as a forum where federal agencies:
- Analyze fleet requirements
- Coordinate implementation
- Learn about new automotive technology
- Discuss policies and programs affecting federal fleets.
INTERFUEL plays a central role in implementing legislation, executive orders, and new policies designed to improve federal fleet management.
Meetings
INTERFUEL meetings include presentations on a specific point of focus for the quarter, updates from the Federal Energy Management Program addressing changing fleet requirements, and networking time for fleet managers to share fleet management experiences.
Quarterly meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m. ET and include a conference line and webinar.

FEVAR
The Federal Electric Vehicle Agency Roundtable (FEVAR) working group serves as a forum where federal agencies can learn more about fleet electrification, including:
- Available fleet electrification tools/resources
- Success stories from other agencies
- Presentations from subject matter experts and key stakeholders
- Advanced zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) and electric vehicle charging technology
Meetings
FEVAR meetings include updates from the Federal Energy Management Program, presentations on key fleet electrification topics, and networking time for fleet managers to share fleet management experiences.
Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. ET and include a conference line and webinar.
