The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) provides a customizable template for federal government agencies seeking to procure lithium-ion battery energy storage systems (BESS). Agencies are encouraged to add, remove, edit, and/or change any of the template language to fit the needs and requirements of the agency.
Agencies may also wish to download the BESS Procurement Checklist to assist in the early stages of project development.
