The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed March 20, 2020 by Spectrum LNG, LLC (Spectrum LNG), requesting short-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically-produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 2.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas for a period of twenty years commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or two (2) years from the date the requested authorization is granted.  Spectrum LNG requests authorization to export LNG from the Ehrenberg Plant located in Ehrenberg, Arizona, to any country with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy ("Non-FTA Nations").  Spectrum LNG intends to transport the LNG in approved ISO containers from the Ehrenberg Plant to the Ports of Los Angeles or San Diego; and any port in the North America capable of accommodating LNG exports via vessel or via ISO containers transported on ocean-going container vessels.
