The Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management gives notice of receipt of an application, filed on December 29, 2022, by Eagle LNG Partners Jacksonville II LLC (Eagle Maxville), requesting long-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 51.75 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per year.  Eagle Maxville requests authorization to export LNG to (1) any country with which the United States currently has, or in the future may enter into, a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas (FTA Nations) and (2) any country with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, that currently has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG, and with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy (Non-FTA Nations).  The authorization is requested through December 31, 2050.  Eagle Maxville plans to transport the LNG in approved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) containers from its Maxville Facility as well as existing third-party liquefaction facilities to ports where the ISO containers will be loaded onto ocean-going carriers for delivery to various countries, primarily in the Caribbean.  Eagle Maxville requests this authorization on its own behalf and as agent for other parties who hold title to the LNG at the time of export.
