PHOENIX – A highly attended panel at the 2023 Waste Management Symposia featured three high school girls from Florida who shared their insights and ideas to encourage more young women to enter science, technology, engineering and math careers. Through the National Science Foundation and their own ingenuity, the trio created the Girls in STEM YouTube channel to post videos of women working in the STEM field.
