PHOENIX – EM Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Jeff Avery, center, spoke during an Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) board meeting at the 2023 Waste Management Symposia. Avery thanked the group for its work in identifying challenges and pursuing solutions that benefit all involved in the world’s largest cleanup effort. EFCOG promotes excellence in all aspects of the operation, management, and integration of DOE facilities in a safe, environmentally sound, efficient and cost-effective manner through the ongoing exchange of information on lessons learned.
