WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (EM) leaders met last week with representatives from the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability (ANA), a national network of 34 organizations from communities across the nuclear weapons complex, to address cleanup issues. Engaging in transparent and open dialogue with alliance representatives from California, New Mexico, Idaho and Washington state resulted in meaningful conversations with a shared sense of cooperation and understanding between the two organizations.
