December 8, 2022Cincinnati – Today, the Department released specific sections of a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new Hanford Site Occupational Medical Services Contract that includes Sections C-Performance Work Statement; F-Deliveries or Performance; L-Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors; M-Evaluation Factors for Award; and Section H clause, entitled “Qualifications of Key Personnel.”
DOE is asking interested parties to provide feedback that DOE will consider as it develops a Final RFP solicitation for this procurement. DOE will also conduct a virtual pre-solicitation briefing with interested parties on December 20, 2022.
The current contract with HPM Corporation (HPMC) expires on December 31, 2023. DOE is competing the requirement for occupational medical services to align with the start of 24/7 operations at the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant to vitrify, or immobilize in glass, low-activity tank waste and an expected increase in workload volume for an occupational medical services provider.
The period of performance of the new contract is expected to include a base period of three years (including a transition period of 60 days), and two option periods of two years each, for a total of seven years.
The EM Consolidated Business Center has set up a website for this procurement. Additional information regarding the Hanford site is available at: /em/hanford.
