DOE Issues Final Request for Proposals for Environmental Management Consolidated Technical Support Services Contract

CINCINNATI – Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued the Final Request for Proposals (RFP) for the EM Consolidated Technical Support Services (EM CTSS) procurement. 

EM requires a CTSS contractor to provide technical support for EM Field Offices and sub-offices with technical support to assist DOE with a comprehensive array of technical support specific, but not limited to:

  • Safety Management and Quality Assurance; 
  • Developing Tank Waste Strategies and Technologies; 
  • Developing New and Innovative Technologies for Waste Management;   
  • Supporting the planning and execution of EM Waste and Materials disposition; 
  • Developing Policy and Guidance on Regulatory Compliance; and 
  • Developing Intergovernmental Stakeholder Programs. 

The EM CTSS procurement will be conducted as a Small Business Administration 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside Competition. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 562910, Environmental Remediation Services, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
