DOE Issues Draft Request for Proposal for Environmental Management Consolidated Technical Support Services Contract

DOE EM issued a Draft Request for Proposal for the Environmental Management Consolidated Technical Support Services procurement.

Cincinnati – Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Environmental Management Consolidated Technical Support Services (EM CTSS) procurement. 

The purpose of the Draft RFP is to solicit questions and comments from all interested parties, and to assist DOE in developing a Final RFP for this procurement. 

EM requires a CTSS contractor to provide technical support to provide EM Field Offices and sub-offices with technical support to assist DOE with a comprehensive array of technical support specific, but not limited, to:

  • Safety Management and Quality Assurance; 
  • Developing Tank Waste Strategies and Technologies; 
  • Developing New and Innovative Technologies for Waste Management; 
  • Supporting the Planning and Execution of EM Waste and Materials Disposition; Developing Policy and Guidance on Regulatory Compliance; and 
  • Developing Intergovernmental Stakeholder Programs. 

The EM CTSS procurement will be conducted as a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562910, Environmental Remediation Services, and the small business size standard is 1000 employees.   

The total estimated contract value is up to $90 million over the five-year period of performance.
