Worker Safety and Health Assistance helps program and line organizations develop and implement and achieve excellence in worker safety and health programs, resolve concerns, and supports both occupational medical and employee assistance programs. These programs also provides technical assistance to EHSS to help resolve policy issues, address complex-wide issues related to worker safety and health, and implements the DOE Voluntary Protection Program.
Worker Safety and Health Policy Clarification Portal (PC Portal)
The Worker Safety and Health Policy Clarification Portal (PC Portal) is a service maintained by the Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy, EHSS-11, within the Office of Health and Safety, EHSS-10. The PC Portal provides workers from across the DOE complex the opportunity to submit questions regarding worker safety and health policy. EHSS-11 answers these questions, called “technical clarifications”, and they represent the best available technical knowledge at the time. These technical clarifications are NOT binding upon DOE as official policy.

WS&H WebEx Series
The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy (EHSS-11) hosts WebEx Series each calendar year with various health and safety topics to benefit the DOE Complex. These videos are recordings of expert Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Engineering and other professionals to provide valuable educational materials that will benefit DOE and other federal agencies, including the public. It also provides an opportunity for EHSS-11 to introduce updates to its audience on current progress of policy updates, current announcements, meeting EHSS-11 Staff and becoming familiar with their roles, responsibilities and involvement across the DOE complex.
