The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) and Queens College, City University of New York operate the medical screening program for former workers at LANL. The purpose of the project is to provide free medical evaluations to former workers who may have been exposed to hazardous substances during their work at DOE, including asbestos, beryllium, lead, noise, radiation and/or solvents.
