Bonnie Barnes

Bonnie has 23 years' experience in the DOE Complex with experience in work control, disciplined operations, maintenance, scheduling, and nuclear facility start-up readiness review process. Her background includes nuclear facility operations including reactors, separations, and liquid waste management.

In her current position, Bonnie is leading a Change Management initiative focusing on Work Planning and Control at Savannah River Remediation at the Savannah River Site. She was a key contributor to the URS Corporate Work Planning and Control Initiative including programmatic technical evaluation of URS Contractor WP&C programs, and was the URS Corporate representative on the ESH&QA Energy Facility Contractor Group during the development of the EFCOG WP&C Guidance Document. 

While working for Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC), Bonnie worked in positions of increasing authority in Maintenance and Operations including Facility Evaluation Board Lead Evaluator where she participated in the evaluation of nuclear facilities to ensure compliance with DOE orders and site-level policies and procedures. She was a lead evaluator for nuclear facility start-up Operational Readiness Reviews, Readiness Assessments, and Due Diligence Reviews.
