Headquarters Facilities Master Security Plan - Chapter 10, Security Awareness Program

This chapter covers the security awareness briefings conducted at the U.S. Department of Energy Headquarters (HQ).  The following security briefings are required for all HQ Federal employees and contractors:  the Initial Security Briefing, which is given when a new employee starts work; the Comprehensive Security Briefing, which is given when an individual first receives their security clearance; the Annual Security Refresher Briefing, which must be completed each year by all those who hold a security clearance; and the Security Termination Briefing, which is conducted when a person no longer requires a security clearance.  This chapter is maintained by the HQ Security Awareness Program Manager in EHSS-42.
