The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy (EHSS-11) hosted the first ever DOE Safety and Health Forum which was held at Metropolitan State University, alongside the ASSP Safety 24 conference in Denver. The meeting included presentations on priority DOE safety and health topics including DOE’s Operating Experience program, electrical safety in construction, construction health hazards, machine guarding, and critical lifts. There were 45 safety professionals in attendance representing several DOE sites. Attendees enjoyed two networking breaks which gave them an opportunity to meet their counterparts from other sites and speak to the presenters.
