May 15, 2024With the support of DOE, KidWind called upon Kindergarten–8th grade students from around the nation to create artwork based on the theme of “Beautiful Wind Energy.” 18 winners, two from each grade, have been chosen and will receive $200. Their work was also shown at this year’s CLEANPOWER 2024 conference in Minneapolis. Winning artwork may also be displayed at DOE’s headquarters in Washington D.C., where thousands of energy officials pass by daily—they're sure to be big fans of these fresh works of art! ?️
