DOE SSL R&D Workshop
More than 160 participants attended the inaugural DOE SSL R&D Workshop, held in Washington, D.C. This workshop was the first in a series designed to establish a forum for industry leaders, researchers, members of academia, and others to provide input to DOE, helping to shape DOE R&D priorities and activities.
FEBRUARY 2005
DOE SSL R&D Workshop
Over 170 participants attended the second annual SSL R&D Workshop, held in San Diego, California. The workshop focused on advancing SSL technology from the laboratory to the marketplace and provided an interactive forum for shaping and prioritizing DOE's SSL research and development activities.
FEBRUARY 2006
DOE SSL R&D Workshop
SSL technology leaders met in Orlando, Florida, to share updates on research and product development with a focus on bringing energy-efficient, cost-competitive products to the marketplace. This annual workshop was hosted by DOE, the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (Building Technologies Program), and the Office of Science (Basic Energy Sciences Program).
