SETO plays an important role in setting the agenda for solar energy research, development, demonstration, and deployment, from advancing next-generation technology to tackling sticky market barriers. This Multi-Year Program Plan describes our strategy for the next five years to accelerate the advancement and equitable deployment of solar energy technologies in the United States. This plan lays out goals for 2025 that will support low-cost, reliable solar electricity, rapid solar deployment, and enable solar technology to meet energy needs beyond electricity.
