This is the text version of the Hy HouB Team video.

Andrés Mantilla-Zárate, Nexus EFW: Houston and Barrancabermeja, the energy capitals of the United States and Colombia, are joining forces to raise awareness about hydrogen and accelerate hydrogen adoption in their respective countries. They are going to become hydrogen capitals of the world.

Pilar Adriana Contreras Gómez, Barrancabermeja Chamber of Commerce: Low emissions hydrogen is a key to achieving a just and equitable energy transition in our city, and thanks to the H2 Twin Cities program, we are partnering with the best to learn from their experience.

Andrés Mantilla-Zárate: Hydrogen can be produced from plenty of resources in both regions. Either hydrocarbons, but also residual biomass, and plenty of renewables.

Juan Hernando Puyana, Regional Competitiveness Commission: Developing a low emissions hydrogen economy is of strategic importance to the resilience and competitiveness of Santander and Barrancabermeja.

Andrés Mantilla-Zárate: With the help of our partners in Houston, the American Bureau of Shipping and the Gulf of Mexico Green Shipping Corridor, we're going to conduct a full program consisting of 31 activities, including group visits, workshops, webinars, short courses, and mentoring opportunities to cover a wide array of topics related to heavy goods transportation using hydrogen or hydrogen-derived fuels.
