Are You Ready to Help Expand Enhanced Geothermal Systems Across the United States?
Let’s find out how to navigate the Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS) Pilot Demonstrations Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) with this Quick Guide!
Directed by President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), this FOA dedicates $14.2 million to EGS pilot projects. These pilot demonstrations will test the efficacy and scalability of EGS, using innovative technology and a variety of development techniques to capture the Earth’s abundant heat resources in distinct settings. This FOA is the second round and is seeking applications for Topic Area 4 only.
This guide provides tips for the key items you’ll need—but be sure to read the FOA in its entirety, too!
