The Fuel Cell Technologies Office held the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Carriers Workshop: Novel Pathways for Optimized Hydrogen Transport and Stationary Storage on November 13–14, 2019, in Golden, Colorado.
The workshop objectives were to:
- Enhance knowledge of and identify potential opportunities for hydrogen carriers
- Help guide DOE strategy for hydrogen carrier R&D
- Identify key gaps and barriers related to hydrogen carriers
- Enable prioritization of R&D and development of preliminary targets.
