November 18, 2024Join our November H2IQ Hour Webinar on November 25, 2024, at 12 p.m. ET for an overview of a pair of activities from Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). We will kick off the webinar with a presentation from Tommy Rockward, staff scientist at LANL, highlighting various interactions and success stories related to workforce development initiatives with Tribal Colleges and Universities at LANL. LANL works closely with Navajo Technical University (NTU) to establish synergy between additive manufacturing and hydrogen fuel cell research. Students at NTU participate in on-campus fuel cell research and senior design projects with co-advisement for thesis projects and guest lectures coordinated with LANL.
Our second presentation will be provided by Jacob Spendelow, staff scientist at LANL, who will provide an overview of Lab Innovator (L’Innovator) and the recently announced Request for Information for the second phase of the program. L’Innovator was launched by the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office in collaboration with the U.S. National Laboratories in 2017 to help transition innovative solutions from the laboratory to the marketplace. L’Innovator unites commercial entities and national lab researchers around unique collections of synergistic, lab-generated inventions and other related intellectual property (IP). Dedicated teams turn this IP into demonstration products and then develop manufacturing processes to support commercial viability of the new technology.
The H2IQ Hour will include two 20-minute live presentations, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. A recording of the H2IQ Hour webinar will be available on the website after the event.
