Amy Royden-Bloom is program manager for the Building Technologies Office’s (BTO) Residential Buildings Integration (RBI) program. BTO’s residential programs include research, analysis, information, and partnerships focused on developing and scaling high-performance building technologies and approaches—improving the affordability and comfort of our nation’s 120 million residential buildings.
Before joining RBI in 2022, Royden-Bloom managed the State Energy Program for nine years. This program provides funding and technical assistance to states, territories, and the District of Columbia to enhance energy security, advance state-led energy initiatives, and maximize the benefits of improving energy affordability. Royden-Bloom also served as senior staff associate at the National Association of Clean Air Agencies, where she gained experience implementing the Clean Air Act. She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor of arts degree in economics and Spanish from the University of Virginia.
