Interior Lighting Campaign Saves Awardees More than $13.2 Million

DOE recognized 13 partner organizations for their exemplary performance in energy-efficiency interior lighting practices. Together they achieved significant savings by upgrading almost 600,000 troffer lighting systems to high-efficiency systems.

BTO’s Commercial Buildings Integration program seeks to advance a range of innovative building technologies and solutions, to produce significant energy savings, greenhouse gas emissions reductions and save businesses money. CBI partners with a diverse set of stakeholders to produce simple, straightforward, intuitive and actionable resources, strategies and tools to be shared through ongoing industry engagement and innovative programming. Research partnerships and pilots help CBI gain industry perspective, connect, develop and disseminate technical expertise, access laboratory and testing infrastructure; and recognize, validate and collaborate with market leaders.

From technology research to tax incentives information, to evaluation tools and workforce development, CBI works across multiple disciplines to help U.S. businesses save energy, time and money. Learn more about CBI, meet the team, and see the program’s full activity list
