DOE ZERO ENERGY READY HOME–LEVERAGING VERSION 2 FOR SUPERIOR EFFICIENCY, MARKET RECOGNITION & 45L

DOE's Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) Version 2 program responds to the advancement of energy codes, the influx of innovative building technologies, and the urgency to reduce emissions to raise the bar on ZERH efficiency and performance. "V2" was released in late 2022 and will be available for use later this year. Beyond significant increases in efficiency, performance, and electric readiness, the arrival of V2 also includes refreshed marketing resources for builders to effectively communicate why these homes are so special. In this session the ZERH team will cover the updated V2 program requirements, marketing and communications resources for partners, and how ZERH certification can qualify a project for the 45L tax credit.
