Chenlin Li is a Technology Manager at the United States Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office. She works within the Feedstock Technologies R&D Program overseeing projects in R&D areas of feedstock production and supply, sustainable energy crops, feedstock preprocessing for conversion, waste streams valorization, and value-added coproducts, in support of the bioeconomy advancement. She is a chemical and environmental engineer by training, and received her PhD from University of Hong Kong, China. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Energy, she worked in three national labs for over 13 years focusing on feedstock supply, logistics, preprocessing and quality improvement, waste to energy, and various biofuels and biochemical conversion pathways.
