Join the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) to celebrate #STEMtember and highlight the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education!
Teachers are integral to making STEM relevant to students and creating pathways of interest for STEM careers. BETO is excited to support STEM education by hosting the Bioenergy Research and Education Bridge (BRIDGES) Bioenergy 101 Webinar on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. ET. BRIDGES is a DOE national laboratory case study-based bioenergy education curriculum created by BETO, Argonne National Laboratory, and Idaho National Laboratory to help students explore the world of clean energy while building STEM and critical thinking skills.
Register today for the BRIDGES Bioenergy 101 Webinar that will provide an overview of the BRIDGES program, along with case studies covering sustainable aviation fuels, upcycling plastics, bioenergy feedstocks, and waste-to-energy potential. BETO is committed to empowering STEM educators to facilitate their learning with a knowledge-building bioenergy curriculum.
Join BRIDGES Office Hours!
BRIDGES Office Hours is an additional resource that offers educators and webinar participants the opportunity to receive assistance to understand how to use the case studies, instructor and student guides, and receive step-by-step BRIDGES support.
