Entrepreneurial Research Fellows Selected to Discover the Next Breakthrough Idea in Clean Energy

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) welcomed the first cohort of innovators to join Innovation Crossroads, the Southeast region's first entrepreneurial research and development (R&D) program based at a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory. This program is funded by the Advanced Manufacturing Office and co-managed by the Technology-to-Market Office.

Third Cohort of Innovators to Start at Cyclotron Road this Month

Cyclotron Road at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has announced the third cohort of innovators. The 10 innovators begin their 2-year fellowship, where they will perform early stage R&D while receiving business mentorship and entrepreneurial training.

Innovation Crossroads at ORNL and Cyclotron Road at LBNL are part of DOE’s Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Programs, which are funded by the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE’s) Advanced Manufacturing Office and co-managed with Tech-to-Market.

REGISTER TODAY: Advanced Manufacturing Office Program Peer Review and Technical Resources Network Forum – June 13-15

Technology experts from the industrial and academic sectors are invited to review the Advanced Manufacturing Office’s (AMO) Program at AMO’s Peer Review from June 13-14, 2017 in the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Arlington, VA. In addition to the Peer Review, AMO is also hosting a co-located Technical Resources Network Forum on June 15, 2017.

The Technical Resources Forum will provide an opportunity to facilitate collaborative partnerships among AMO’s R&D stakeholders and connect them with our portfolio of technical resources including Manufacturing USA Consortia/Institutes, national lab programs such as the small business vouchers and technologist in residence programs, and specific technical support capabilities at the national labs such as high performance computing, catalysis development tools and research, and the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility.

View the Peer Review agenda, Technical Resources Forum agenda, and register for both events as soon as possible, but by no later than June 2, 2017.
