Getting Started with the New and Improved 50001 Ready Navigator Tool
The Department of Energy (DOE) is excited to introduce the 50001 Ready Navigator as a new and improved resource for establishing a business culture of continual improvement based on the best practices of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standard.
The 50001 Ready Navigator offers significant enhancements in support of team collaboration, and provides improved support for DOE’s 50001 Ready recognition program and Superior Energy Performance (SEP) certification program.
Access to the Navigator is completely free and publicly available.
Funding Available for Small Businesses Aiming to Commercialize a Novel Desalination Process
The Department of Energy’s Geothermal Technologies Office seeks to partner with a small business to commercialize a novel desalination process—Forward Osmosis—driven by low-enthalpy geothermal heat. This Technology Transfer Opportunity encourages small businesses to propose a Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer project that leverages this desalination technology that has been developed at the Idaho National Laboratory.
A mandatory letter of intent is due by 5:00 PM eastern time on Monday, January 8, 2018.
