AMO’s Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute Announces First National Member
The Advanced Manufacturing Office’s Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) announced that Savigent Software has joined the Manufacturing USA initiative as its first national member. Through this partnership, Savigent Software has access to CESMII’s leadership and its regional, resource and consortium partners to develop and leverage nationwide projects focused on making more efficient use of energy and other resources.

Chain Reaction Innovation Program Startup Wins Ocean-Themed Competition
Chain Reaction Innovations, the Lab Embedded Entrepreneurship Program at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory, made a big splash this month at Ocean Exchange when one of the companies in its first cohort, Atlas Energy Systems, won the top prize for innovation.
