On August 19, 2010, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Health, Safety and Security’s Office of Enforcement issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (WEA-2010-02) to Washington Closure Hanford, LLC for violations of 10 C.F.R. 851 associated with a worker fall from a catwalk in the Hanford High Bay Testing Facility at DOE's Hanford site on July 1, 2009.
