On October 18, 2023, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (NEA-2023-02) to Triad National Security, LLC for violations of nuclear safety requirements 10 C.F.R. Part 820, Procedural Rules for DOE Nuclear Activities, that were identified during our investigation of a radioactive material release from a glovebox system at the Plutonium Facility (PF-4) at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
