On December 21, 2022 the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (DOE/NNSA) issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (SEA-2022-01) to National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC (NTESS) for violations of information security requirements (10 C.F.R. 824) related to an incident of security concern regarding the introduction of unauthorized electronic equipment into security areas at Sandia National Laboratories.
