On October 17, 2024, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (WEA-2024-05) to Mission Support and Test Services, LLC for violations of the Department of Energy’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. 851) associated with two ground fall events at the Nevada National Security Sites, Principal Underground Laboratory for Subcritical Experimentation.
