On January 19, 2001, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (EA 2000-13) to the University of California for violations of 10 C.F.R. Parts 830 and 835 associated with the March 16, 2000, radioactive material intake event at TA-55, the 1998 radioactive material intake event at TA-55, and authorization basis and work control violations at TA-18 at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
