On January 13, 2021, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (NEA-2021-01) to Fluor-BWXT Portsmouth LLC for violations of nuclear safety requirements (10 C.F.R. 820) associated with radiation protection program implementation deficiencies at the Portsmouth Site.
