On March 16, 2005, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (EA-2005-02) to BWXT Pantex, LLC for violations of 10 C.F.R. 830 associated with high explosive cracking identified during the disassembly of a retired nuclear weapon at the Pantex Plant and the subsequent recovery actions.
