The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Environment, Safety and Health Assessments, within the DOE Office of Independent Enterprise Assessments (formerly the Office of Health, Safety and Security), conducted an independent oversight review of the safety significant confinement ventilation system at the Plutonium Finishing Plant. Independent Oversight also reviewed the performance of DOE oversight, as appropriate, to provide input for its evaluation of the effectiveness of the Federal assurance capability. This Independent Oversight review was performed February 3-13, 2014.
