Review of Safety Component Procurement at DOE Nuclear Facilities
This report summarizes the results of the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Independent Oversight’s reviews of nuclear safety component procurement that were conducted at 14 DOE nuclear facilities located at 11 different DOE sites between 2005 and 2009. This focus area review evaluated the effectiveness of implementation of DOE procurement programs at selected DOE nuclear facilities with respect to the applicable requirements.
