This report provides the results of an independent assessment of nuclear safety culture at the Sodium Bearing Waste Treatment Project at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Idaho Site. The review was performed by the DOE Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security. The primary objective of the evaluation was to provide information regarding the status of the safety culture at the project. The data collection phase of the assessment occurred in April and May 2012.
