On June 28, 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued an Enforcement Letter (WEL-2016-02) to URS Energy and Construction, Inc. for deficiencies in implementing heat stress program requirements pursuant to 10 C.F.R. Part 851 and an event involving a URS worker who experienced heat stress symptoms at DOE’s Separations Process Research Unit.
