On February 28, 2012, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Health, Safety and Security’s Office of Enforcement and Oversight issued an Enforcement Letter (NEL-2012-01) to Washington River Protection Solutions, LLC concerning inadequacies in the Hanford Tank Farm Documented Safety Analysis and an Unreviewed Safety Question involving the Tank Farm waste transfer system.
